Understanding the Court Cards **NEW**
Get to know the court cards like never before – this course is designed to introduce the reader to this difficult group of cards from a wide variety of unique and in-depth perspectives. We will explore their personalities (good, bad, and …), elemental, psychological, and astrological qualities, address gender issues, experiment with significators, play with body language, and learn how to tell if a given court card represents the querant, someone else, or not a person at all. Meet the court cards disguised as approaches, professions, occupations, institutions, activities, animals, and more.

The Four Elements in Life and Tarot
This class explores the four elements in tarot and in life. Participants will become familiar with how the elemental energies express themselves in their chosen deck, and how to read elemental dignities in both formal and informal ways. In addition, participants will explore how elemental energies express themselves in various facets of our lives, from the kitchen to our clothing to our preferred learning and communication styles. We will look at identifying when energies might be out of balance, as well as ways of connecting with the elemental energies we need to enhance, both through tarot and other means. Bringing both sides of the class together, we will learn to live the tarot in a whole new way, with deeper appreciation for natural elemental energies. Note: This course is designed to be used with Deborah Lipp’s book “The Way of Four,” but can be used stand-alone as well. It was originally designed as a 10-week online class, but can be adapted as desired.

Tarot Reversals
This 7-week course presents at least 15 different ways to use reversals, ranging from traditional methods to psychological methods to thoroughly modern and custom-designed approaches. Special attention is given to court cards, round decks, and readings that are entirely reversed. You will learn how to discern the core archetypes in each card and use them in new and versatile ways, including balancing elemental energies, conscious and shadow selves, and a variety of eminently practical and unique approaches.

Exploring the Celtic Cross
Working with the Celtic Cross can be a frustrating experience for new and experienced readers alike. In this 4-week class, you will explore the historical origins of the Celtic Cross, break it down into insightful component parts and mini-spreads, and learn the original method for working with each position as well as many modern variants. Design your own personal version of the Celtic Cross and learn to customize it for a wide variety of situations, and you will never again be stuck wondering exactly how this historic spread is supposed to work.

  2. Hi Teresa, as you may know, we covered the origins of the Celtic Cross in detail in Tarosophist International #2, where I first published the F.L. Gardner transcript based on two years research in the Warburg Institute. Marcus Katz.

  3. Woah! I’m really enjoying the template/theme of this site. It’s simple, yet effective.
A lot of times it’s difficult to get that “perfect balance” between superb usability and visual appearance. I must say that you’ve done a very good job with this.
Also, the blog loads extremely fast for me on Safari.
    Outstanding Blog!
